Highly Trained Staff

Each of our carers undergoes continuous training to ensure we deliver a quality service to our clients. This training includes:

• Induction Training
• Health & Safety
• Food Hygiene
• Manual Handling
• Hoist Training
• COSHH Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health
• Self Defense
• Dementia Care
• Safe Handling of Medicines
• Fire Safety
• Risk Assessments
• Palliative Care Training
• Plus various In-House DVD sessions

All staff will be working toward NVQ level 2 and some of the senior staff including Team Leaders will be expected to take NVQ level 3.

We also constantly monitor our teams by means of Shadowing, Spot Audits, Supervision and Appraisals.

We hope to build a staff team that is experienced, professional and equipped to meet the needs of the local community within Whitby and the surrounding area.
