New Training Opportunities

Friday, January 30th, 2009

Having purchased various training DVDs and work-booklets, our staff now have the opportunity to learn the “ins and outs” of everyday domiciliary care. These DVDs include:

  • Moving and Handling
  • Dementia Awareness
  • Nutrition and Diet
  • Continence Promotion
  • Food Hygiene
  • And many more

Each unit contains multiple DVDs considering assessment, theory and practical elements of each subject. With these new training opportunities available there has never been a better time to join our team, if you wish to apply for a role within the company, then please fill in the online application form and we will of course be in touch.

The New Year

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

We are now well in to the New Year, and a New Year brings new changes. With the growing number of clients, we finally “bit the bullet” and decided to start off a new team, The Purple Team. This new team will be run by Sarah Lonsdale, with the Red Team Leader role been passed on to one of our longest serving carers, Stacey Reeves, and I would like to wish her well in her new and challenging job role. Heather Estill is still running the Green Team, and there are no doubts that January has been one of our most efficient months that we have had in a long while, so with new systems in place and the Purple Team up and running, we are hoping for a very positive year ahead.

First Blog Entry!

Friday, January 16th, 2009

From now on we will be posting a weekly blog entry, to keep you up to date with any changes, news or any other points of interest. We see this as a good way to communicate with the public, clients and even staff.
